So this is a bit of the cast of the series. There are like, three alternate universes full of more characters.
I'll start with MAIN characters.
Ichigo Kurosaki
Ichigo Kurosaki (fifteen) is the main character of the series. He lives with his dad and two little sisters. His mother died in front of him when he was about eight, and ever since that day, he has been a strong fighter. Since Ichigo was young, he was able to see ghosts. Then, he became a Soul Reaper.
Rukia Kuchiki
Rukia Kuchiki is the Soul Reaper that changed Ichigo's life, in a way. (They are NOT a paring!!!!!) Rukia is tough and has a great amount of power. She may seem young and short, but she's really about 150 years old. Rukia trained Ichigo to be a good Soul Reaper and skilled fighter.
Orihime Inoue
Orihime Inoue is a sweet and caring girl that is in Ichigo's class at school. They are very good friends (IchixHime FOREVER!!) and allies. Orihime has incredible powers to reject any force in the universe. Her healing abilities are amazing to the extent she can regenerate a lost arm.
Yasutora (Chad) Sado
Chad is in short the silent figure. He has obvious brute strength and he is very intelligent. He has been friends with Ichigo since he transferred into Ichigo's middle school, and helped him in a fight. The two have been strong allies for a long time.
Uryu Ishida
Uryu is the ultra-smart guy of the group. He is a Quincy. An almost extinct breed of fighters that use bows and arrows to fight their enemies. He is a little girly, or prissy, or whatever you want to call it. His powers are great, and used to be greater than Ichigo's. The two used to hate each other, and still kinda do, but ended up being reluctant allies.
Renji Abarai
Renji is a high ranking Soul Reaper, who used to hate Ichigo more than anyone in the entire series. He is a bit of a Sixth Ranger and a good friend of Rukia's (RenjixRuki FOREVER!!!!). Despite his rank and his swagger, he has only won a couple of fights in the whole series. Instead of being frugal, he spends his money on tattoos and sunglasses that cost a half of a year's pay. That's just how he is.
Bleach is a popular series world-wide, and for good reason. There is LOTS OF FIGHTING, and long explanations. The pictures I used were for the sake of having a consistent theme. Anyway, watch Bleach whenever you can!
The plot goes something like this:
Ichigo Kurosaki is a tenth grader at Karakura High School, and for as long as he can remember, he has been able to see ghosts. One day, when his family was put in danger, the Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki helped him save his family by transforming him into another Soul Reaper. Rukia then lost her powers. With Rukia unable to use her powers, Ichigo has to take over the duty of destroying Hollows, the manifestation of a lost soul.
Bleach unfortunately, has a lot of blood and violence. So much it's hard to ignore. Still, the depth of the series and it's contents make it great to watch.
